Abstract:

Quantum Ghost Imaging (QGI) is an imaging method based on entangled photon pairs. Current setups use gated cameras, which limit the setup to applications in Transmission. "Asynchronous QGI" replaces this camera with an array of single photon detectors with temporal resolution. The required coincidence analysis is made possible by comparing the timestamps of the detections. This enables applications in remote sensing and allows direct 3D reconstruction of the scene from the coincidence data.
